WHAT ARE TOOTH GEMS?

Tooth gems are small Swarovski crystals that are attached to the surface of a tooth using a dental grade adhesive. As a tooth gem professional, Annika will ensure that your jewelry is applied correctly. Tooth gems are temporary, will not cause any permanent damage to your teeth, and can be removed easily and painlessly at a dental clinic. Plus, they are beautiful to look at and will add a sparkle to your smile!

Our tooth gems are made of solid gold, the highest quality Swarovski crystals, and feature different shapes and symbols, all of which are made for oral use. They do not contain toxic metals, such as led or nickel, and come in a wide range of colors and sizes!

WHAT TO EXPECT?

For basic gem designs, you can expect about a 30 minute appointment. For more detailed designs you can expect it to take an hour.

Before the procedure begins, you can expect to have your tooth enamel cleaned and prepped. A dental-grade bonding agent will then be applied to your tooth on the area in which the gem will be placed. Next, our tooth gem expert will use instruments to secure your jewelry into place. A special light is then used to cure (harden) the bonding adhesive. It takes only about 20-60 seconds for the jewel to set into the adhesive.

Avoid brushing your tooth vigorously following the procedure, and avoid super sticky foods. It’s important to maintain proper oral care following a tooth gem application. It’s also a good idea not to play with or pick at your jewelry once it’s been placed.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Services subject to a 24hr cancellation policy. Services that require your payment info upon booking, will be held in the case of a no-show, or appointment cancelled or rescheduled within the 24hr time period before your session. Card will then automatically be charged a 20%-50% cancellation fee depending on the booked service.
